The hard part is setting the projection, mantaining the channeling is a bit easier and takes more stamina than anything. That's why she can chat casually. It's still an impressive feat tho!

Aza you think it lacks offence?
A human body contains about 60% of water. If that water mage uses their water against them think about how many ways she can defeat enemies without much effort.
>Turning water inside poison
>Raising temperature of water to boiling point
>Drain water out of them leaving them dead dry husk
>A single drop of sweat can be used against them. Think about that drop of water attacking the nervous.

This is the best form assassination so far. Untraceable.

They never had a chance to catch them!

Aza has a point. Ofc, there are very creative ways to use the water element as a weapon, even insidious ones as you mentioned. Still, in raw destructive power it cannot hold a literal candle to fire, given a similar amount of expertise and avaliable mana.

I am quite sure the whoremasters guild and the man at the wheel will testify to the destructive power of fire, well the whoremasters guild seems to have taken a vacation to the local undertakers parlor, so they might not say much, but, I'm sure they agree 100%.

Put me on team water magic.
Fire is boring, where you can get really creative with water.

Not exactly the same, but that's why thaumaturgy was my favorite discipline in VtM. Come to think of it, does water magic include blood magic? Is blood magic even a thing in BotH?

Aza tries her best, but yeah, fire is pretty straight forward.

In terms of versatility I'd say a pure arcane (prana) mage would be superior to a hydromancer, but they're the next best thing. Water magic can influence blood, but it's less efficient at that than Blood magic, another school entirely, that uses Daimoinon. Some vampires are proficient at it.

Water is usually linked to healing magic and support stuff but just wait until the tsunami hits. Also, water usually owns fire type enemies which are usually pretty insidious.

True, it's a hard counter to fire after all! However, many creatures have a weakness, sometimes even exclusive, to fire.
